The mission of the Missouri/Kansas Concrete Pipe Association is to increase the educational and technical awareness of concrete products in the engineering community. The concrete industry is continually researching and improving their products. Because concrete has been around for many years it is sometimes perceived as outmoded. Nothing could be further from the truth. It is our objective to inform the engineering community of our research and the improvements in our products.
In addition, the concrete pipe industry has made it a priority to develop software and technical materials that will assist engineers in the design of pipe installation for storm and sanitary sewers and storm water retention basins. The Missouri / Kansas Concrete Pipe Association provides these materials and software packages, including educational seminars to explain their use, to engineers throughout the two state area.
